
The international competition in Uzbekistan, OPEN ASIA, organized by Fiestalonia Milenio (Spain) – a global leader in the field of competitions – will bring together thousands of talented participants from around the world on one stage. It offers each of them a unique opportunity to showcase their skills, exchange experiences with fellow contestants, and compete for the Grand Prix of one of the most prestigious competitions in the world.
The competition is supported and held with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Tourism of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Education of Uzbekistan, the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC), and the Ministry of Culture of the Kingdom of Spain.
The international competition OPEN ASIA in Uzbekistan will be evaluated using a unique judging methodology developed and refined over many years by the Fiestalonia Milenio competition committee. The jury consists of truly outstanding experts of global renown from Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Japan, the USA, the UK, and other European countries.

All creative groups, as well as each individual participant, will receive personalized, numbered diplomas officially registered with the Spanish representative office, in accordance with the regulations of the World Competition Commission (WCC).
Every teacher and group leader will be awarded special European certificates and numbered letters of appreciation on official letterhead of the Kingdom of Spain. The best ensembles and individual performers may also receive invitations to participate in international competitions held on prestigious stages in Spain and Italy.

The international competition in Uzbekistan, Open Asia, sets the following objectives:
- promotion of Uzbekistan at the international level;
- improvement of performance skills of ensembles and discovery of new creative personalities;
- strengthening of cultural ties between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the European Union;
- enhancement of diverse cultural connections, creation of a creative atmosphere for professional communication among competition participants, exchange of experience and repertoire;
- discovery of new names and talents;
- attraction of music producers and managers to organize future touring and concert activities for the participants of this festival in Spain, Italy, and Kazakhstan.

Nominations
GROUP (A1) – Instrumental Music (Soloists, Ensembles, Orchestras)
- piano soloists, piano ensembles for one instrument (performing on two instruments is not allowed);
- academic string and bowed instruments (violin, viola, cello, double bass, etc.);
- folk instruments: bayan, accordion, bowed string, plucked string, plectrum string, struck string instruments, etc.;
- wind instruments;
- guitar;
- percussion instruments: orchestral percussion instruments;
- pop percussion instruments.
Ensembles, soloists, duets, and small groups may present only one competition piece, with a maximum duration of 5 minutes.
Each additional piece is evaluated separately by the jury and is paid for as a separate performance.
GROUP (A2) – Uzbek Folk Instruments
- plucked string instruments: Guruh, Prima rubob, Qashqar rubob, Afghan rubob, Dutor prima, Dutor alto, Dutor bass, Dutor k.b;
- bowed string instruments: G’ijjak-2, G’ijjak-alto, G’ijjak-qobuz-bass, G’ijjak-qobuz-double bass;
- wind instruments: Nay piccolo, Nay, Surnay (bayan), Qo’shnay;
- struck plucked string instruments: Chang, Qonun;
- percussion instruments: classical, pop, and national percussion instruments.
Ensembles, soloists, duets, and small groups may present only one competition piece, with a maximum duration of 5 minutes.
Each additional piece is evaluated separately by the jury and is paid for as a separate performance.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION IN NOMINATIONS FOR GROUPS A1 AND A2
- one piece of music to be chosen by the participant;
- the competition piece must not exceed 5 minutes in duration;
- the declared program must strictly correspond to the performance at the competition; the program cannot be changed;
- performances with backing tracks are not allowed;
- there are no restrictions regarding the participant’s status (e.g., music school, music academy, music college, conservatory, amateurs, or private lessons. Professionals and amateurs are judged in different categories);
- performances with “military-patriotic” themes are not allowed.

GROUP (B1) – Vocals (Ensembles, Soloists, Duets, Trios, Quartets, Quintets)

Ensembles, soloists, duets, and small groups may present only one competition piece, with a maximum duration of 5 minutes.
Each additional piece is evaluated separately by the jury and is paid for as a separate performance.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION IN NOMINATIONS FOR GROUP B1
- ensembles, soloists, duets, and small groups may present only one competition piece, with a maximum duration of 5 minutes;
- the piece should highlight the performers’ abilities;
- all compositions must be recorded on a flash drive in MP3 format;
- it is mandatory to specify in the application whether the participants are soloists, duets, or small groups (from three to five people);
- performances with “military-patriotic” themes are not allowed.
Ensembles, soloists, duets, and small groups may present only one competition piece, with a maximum duration of 5 minutes.
Each additional piece is evaluated separately by the jury and is paid for as a separate performance.
GROUP (B2) – Choral Art (B1.1. Mixed, B1.2. Incomplete mixed/camera, B1.3. Homogeneous, B1.4. Children’s)
- classical vocal;
- folk vocal;
- folk (authentic) vocal;
- pop vocal;
- jazz vocal;
- góspel;
- spiritual.
Ensembles, soloists, duets, and small groups may present only one competition piece, with a maximum duration of 5 minutes.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION IN NOMINATIONS FOR GROUP B2
- one piece of music to be chosen by the participant – with musical accompaniment or a cappella (no more than 5 minutes);
- performances with “military-patriotic” themes are not allowed.
Ensembles, soloists, duets, and small groups may present only one competition piece, with a maximum duration of 5 minutes.
Each additional piece is evaluated separately by the jury and is paid for as a separate performance.
GROUP (C) – Choreographic Ensembles and Soloists
- classical dance;
- folk choreography, folk-stylized dance, ethnic dances;
- ballroom dance;
- sport dances (hip-hop, disco, techno, street, electric boogie, break dance, pop locking, and other street styles);
- contemporary choreography (jazz, modern, neoclassicism, etc.);
- pop dance;
- oriental dance;
- children’s dance;
- street dance;
- social dance (Argentine tango, Balboa, bachata, boogie-woogie, waltz, West Coast swing, zouk, Irish céilí dance, country, kizomba, lindy-hop, machine, merengue, reggaeton, rueda, salsa, samba de gafieira, semba, forró, hustle, and others).

- ensembles, soloists, duets, and small groups may present only one competition piece, with a maximum duration of 5 minutes;

Each participant may submit only one competition work.
Each additional work is evaluated separately by the jury and is paid for as a separate work.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION IN NOMINATIONS FOR GROUP D
- each participant may submit only one work for the competition;
- each work must be submitted with a separate application and is paid for separately;
- the work must include an ID number, which will be assigned to you after the application is completed, as well as your name, surname, and age in Latin letters;
- the format must be no larger than A2;
- works must be submitted to the organizing committee and will be evaluated by the jury.

- mastery of composition techniques;
- mastery of the technique in which the work is executed;
- originality of concept and execution;
- coloristic solution.
AWARDS
Awards are distributed across seven age groups based on performance genres and nominations:

- Participants who score:
- Up to 70 points — receive a Diploma of Participation
- 70–80 points — become Laureates of the 3rd Degree
- 81–90 points — become Laureates of the 2nd Degree
- 91–99 points — become Laureates of the 1st Degree
- 100 points — are awarded the Grand Prix of the “Open Asia” competition
The Grand Prix is awarded in each nomination (in groups A, B1, B2, C, and D).
INCLUDED IN THE PARTICIPATION FEE:
- Soloists, duets, and small groups receive personalized diplomas with scores from the contest’s founders and organizers. (Soloists and duets receive individual diplomas; small groups receive a diploma with the group’s name.)
- Groups of 6 or more receive one diploma for the entire ensemble, including results from the founders and organizers.
- 1st Degree Laureates receive Champion Cups.
- Grand Prix winners receive a personalized diploma and the official Super Grand Prix Champion Cup of Asia and Europe from Fiestalonia.
- A leader, teacher, or sponsor of a group receives one letter of appreciation on official letterhead of the Kingdom of Spain.
- A special President’s Prize from Fiestalonia Milenio has been established — free participation in international competitions in Spain, Italy, or France.
The winner receives:
