From July 12 to 17, 2026, the sunny Spanish town of Lloret de Mar on the legendary Costa Brava coastline became the global epicenter of dance and vocal arts. For five days, the Fiestalonia Milenio stage united hundreds of artists across two major projects: the choreographic contest « International Dance Games » and the vocal festival « Voices of Costa Brava ».
The geography of this season’s contestants once again proved the global reach of these events. Bright, talented, and ambitious performers from Estonia, Spain, Germany, Ukraine, UAE, Kazakhstan, Poland, Hungary, and the USA brought their finest work to the Spanish stage.

Competition Day: Closed Format & Distinguished Jury Panel
On July 13, the main competitive viewings took place at the Municipal Theater of Lloret de Mar (Teatre de Lloret). The event was held in a professional closed-door format, ensuring complete focus from both the performers and the jury panel for every single act.
For several hours, the theater stage pulsed with a non-stop artistic marathon. Virtuoso ballet passes, complex acrobatics, and expressive contemporary pieces seamlessly blended into powerful vocal performances, refined academic technique, and high-energy pop vocals.
Evaluating the contestants was a stellar panel of international judges bringing together expertise from choreography, vocal performance, and musical theater:
- Noelia Muñoz Gavilán — Dance and vocal performing arts professor with over 13 years of experience in training dancers and artists. Head of Studies, Ballet and Jazz teacher in Barcelona, as well as a master of academic vocals.
- Irina Khrebtova — Dancer, teacher, and choreographer. Graduate of the State School of Ballet and former Prima Ballerina in the State Theatre of Opera and Ballet. She has performed as an invited dancer in various productions in Spain and is the founder and artistic director of the dance academy « Alira » in Lloret de Mar.
- Joan Carles Capdevila Torné — Arranger, composer, studio singer, member of « a cappella » groups, and instrumentalist in various musical formations. He also works in advertising, teaches in the field of Musical Theater, and participates in choral singing, opera, orchestration, and symphonic arrangements.
- Karina Terán (USA) — Dancer, choreographer, and educator working across stage and contemporary performance. She holds an MFA in Dance from Hunter College in New York and has performed and created works internationally, combining strong technique with expressive modern choreography.

Featured Masterclass
As part of the dance program, participants took part in an exclusive masterclass led by US jury member Karina Terán: « Performance Ready: A Progressive Stage Warm-Up for Dancers. » In a short amount of time, dancers mastered progressive muscle warm-up routines, core stabilization methods, and techniques for rapid physical activation before going on stage.
Exploring Catalonia
In their free time, performers and their supporters enjoyed an extensive sightseeing program. Many groups set off to explore the Catalan capital of Barcelona, taking in Antoni Gaudí’s architectural masterpieces and the vibrant atmosphere of Las Ramblas. Adrenaline seekers spent an unforgettable day at the world-famous PortAventura Park, while others attended authentic evening flamenco shows or simply unwound on the golden beaches and crystal-clear waters of the Costa Brava.
Gala Concert & Grand Prix Triumph
The festival week reached its grand climax during the open-air Gala Concert held on the town’s main square — Plaça de Pere Torrent.
In a warm, welcoming, and celebratory atmosphere, the artists took the stage once again to share their finest numbers with the residents and guests of Lloret de Mar. The evening concluded with the traditional Award Ceremony, where every group received their well-deserved diplomas and accolades.
The ultimate triumph of the season and the winner of the crystal Grand Prix trophy was the dance ensemble from Germany:
