The summer season kicked off with a vibrant event in the world of dance and vocal performance – the Dancing Italy and Sun of Italy festivals, organized by Fiestalonia Milenio. These two festivals brought together talented dance and vocal groups from around the globe, transforming the picturesque cities of Rimini and San Marino into epicenters of creativity and cultural exchange. The competition day, held at the renowned Teatro Tarkovskij in Rimini, gathered around 130 participants. The stage was graced by groups from Slovakia, India, Kazakhstan, Germany, Brazil, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, and the Czech Republic. Participants presented a diverse array of programs, including traditional and contemporary dances, as well as vocal performances, creating a unique atmosphere of cultural diversity and inspiration.
The festival showcased the high level of skill of the participants, who enthusiastically competed for recognition and prizes. The jury, consisting of esteemed experts in the fields of dance and vocal performance, evaluated the performances based on criteria such as technique, artistry, creativity, and stage presence.
The gala concert and award ceremony took place in the elegant Teatro Titano in San Marino. This evening marked the culmination of the festival, where the best performances reappeared on stage, eliciting a wave of applause and emotions from the audience. Participants, their teachers, and the audience had the opportunity to enjoy the outstanding performances and celebrate the achievements of the talented groups.
The Grand Prix of the Dancing Italy competition was rightfully awarded to the dance duo from India, Tanya and Tanisha of Rockstar Academy. They truly impressed every spectator and the jury not only with their traditional dances but also with their contemporary choreography. The top prize was awarded for their contemporary dance piece “Be Bold… Be Beautiful… Be You”.
