Cantare Children’s choir excels abroad

The Cantare Children’s Choir put their best foot forward by winning several awards on their recent trip to Europe

THE Cantare Children’s Choir members put their best foot forward by winning several awards on their recent trip to Europe.

At the Golden Voices of Montserrat Competition, held in Spain, the Cantare Children’s Choir was awarded a Grand Prix Trophy (full marks in competition), as well as an award in the Special Awards category for Folklore.

The concert was held at the Basilica of the Monastery Montserrat on Wednesday, March 23, and was followed by dinner and the awards ceremony, where the Cantare Children’s Choir raked in their awards.
