On February 14, 2025, the vibrant coastal town of Lloret de Mar, Spain, became the heart of international creativity and artistic expression as it hosted one of the brightest events of the winter season — the Super Cup festival-competition.
Bringing together talented participants from across the globe, this event was a true celebration of performance art in its many forms. The warm Mediterranean setting of Lloret de Mar created the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable showcase of music, dance, and artistic talent.
A Festival of Diverse Talents
The Super Cup welcomed performers in five artistic categories:
- Vocal
- Choreography
- Visual and Applied Arts
- Original Genre
- Instrumental Performance
Each category was filled with outstanding performances, showcasing the passion, creativity, and dedication of the participants. From heartfelt vocal solos to expressive dance numbers, and from intricate visual artworks to mesmerizing instrumental pieces and original genre performances — the variety of talents was simply astonishing.
A Distinguished Jury Panel
Participants were evaluated by an expert jury panel composed of world-class professionals from the fields of music, dance, and visual arts:
- Joan Carles Capdevila Torné — Renowned composer, arranger, and studio singer. He is a multi-instrumentalist, involved in both classical and commercial music, including collaborations with Gestmusic Endemol TV productions like Operación Triunfo. With experience in orchestration, opera, and musical theater, he brings a comprehensive vision of the performing arts.
- María Luz Martínez Farias — A gifted soprano and Doctor of Art History. She has performed on the most prestigious stages worldwide and collaborated with prominent conductors and pianists. She currently shares her knowledge and experience with students at the University of Barcelona, nurturing the next generation of vocal talent.
- Yulia Kruglyak — The first Slavic flamenco performer in Spain with over 30 years of stage experience. As a renowned choreographer and teacher, she continues to inspire dancers across the world with her dynamic flamenco masterclasses and mentorship.
- David Dzhaparidze — President and founder of the Spanish festival committee Fiestalonia Milenio, and Director of the Fiestalonia International Center in London. As a jury member of the world’s most prestigious competitions, he has a deep understanding of performance quality and international standards.
A Day to Remember
The atmosphere throughout the day was filled with excitement and creativity. Participants not only competed but also connected across cultures, making new friends and sharing in the joy of art.
Every performance was met with applause and admiration, reflecting the enthusiasm of both the audience and the jury. The visual arts exhibition was a standout addition, allowing guests to experience the talents of painters and artisans in a gallery-like setting.
