Report of World Grand Prix & Super Grand Prix festivals (October, 2024)

From October 25 to 30, the Municipal Theater of Lloret de Mar hosted two major international festivals: the World Grand Prix, dedicated to choral singing, and the Super Grand Prix, which brought together music and dance groups, as well as solo performers. You can watch the live broadcast of the Gala concert on our official YouTube channel.

World Grand Prix: Small but Impressive Competition

This year’s choral festival was modest in scale but delivered extraordinary performances. Three choirs from Romania, Kazakhstan, and South Africa participated in the event.
The Grand Prix of the festival was unanimously awarded to the choir from South Africa. The jury praised their remarkable multi-genre approach and virtuosic mastery of polyphony, which left the audience with chills.
