The International Distance Competition in two rounds “Talents of Europe” – created by the Spanish Festival Committee as a platform for creative achievements of competitors and their teachers and producers. The contest gives participants the opportunity to get prestigious European diplomas, and their teacher’s certificate with the assessment of the competitor’s readiness. Representatives of all countries participate in the contest.

Seven reasons why you should participate in this competition:

Receiving applications:

I-Round – Reception of applications till 25 October 2020 / evaluation of the candidates till 15 November 2020. (OPEN)
II-Round – acceptance of works from 16 to 26 November (only for those who passed the second round).
December 15 publication of the results of Round II and announcement of the winners.

All participants who go to the second round have to send applications again with other performances and pay for participation in second round.

    IV: sport dance (hip hop, disco, techno, street, electric boogie, break dance, pop locking and other street styles);
    V: modern dance (jazz modern, neoclassic etc.);
    VI: variety dance;
    VII: social dance

    I: piano
    II: string-bowed;
    III: string-plucked;
    IV: folk instruments;

    Vocal contest online

    GROUP (С)
    singing (choirs, musicals, ensembles, duets, trios, soloists):

    I: academic singing;
    II: church singing;
    III: jazz singing;
    IV: rock and rap;
    V: folk singing;
    VI: pop singing;
    VII: musicals.

Age groups of the participants

  • I) younger than 10 years old
  • II ) 10-12 years
  • III) 13-15 years
  • IV) 16-19 years
  • V) 20-25 years
  • VI) from 26 years
  • Mixed

* The group age is based on the majority of the participants.

Technical requirements

  • soloists, duets, trios, quartets, quintets, ensembles and groups – can present 1 performance (number, dance, song, musical piece) up to 8 minutes.
  • your presentation must be recorded on video and uploaded on YouTube, Vimeo, DropBox or any other service and to provide a link to the video together with the application for participation.
  • video editing is not allowed! The video should be taken with a static camera, without interruptions and changing the angle. The video can be taken specifically for the contest, or to be a recording from another contest.
  • The video recording or work cannot be older than 1 year from the moment of filing the application.

* The participants may submit several works to the competition. Each additional work is paid as an additional nomination.

The Jury of the Talents of Europe

The jury includes world renowned choreographers, vocalists, conductors, musicians, producers, music critics from Spain, France, Italy, China, the USA and other countries. The international jury is formed by the organizer of the competition.

The jury has the right

  • not to award all the prizes;
  • to share prize among performers;
  • to award special prizes to teachers for outstanding achievements;
  • to make a decision about breaking a performance which exceeds the bounds of the regulations;
  • the jury evaluates the participants on one hundred-point system, the final result is made up of the average quantity of the received scores and the average value of the progress scores;
  • the jury’s decisions are final and are not subject to review.

    GROUP (А) – choreographic groups and soloists

    – mastery
    – technique of movements’ execution
    – compositional creation of the performance
    – suitability for the theatre (flexibility, costume, properties, performing standards)
    – choice and correspondence of the musical and choreographic materials
    – artistic skills, disclosure of an artistic image

    GROUP (B) – instrumental groups and soloists

    – degree of the complexity of the repertoire
    – degree of virtuosity and technical capability
    – scenic culture, artistic skill, posture

    GROUP (С) – singing (choirs, ensembles, duets, trios, soloists)

    – purity of the intonation and quality of sound
    – beauty of the timbre and the voice strength
    – scenic culture, artistic skill
    – Mastery – technique of movements’ execution


  • Regarding the genres of performing and nominations the awards are distributed due to seven age groups
  • participants who received up to 70 points become prize winners (copper diploma);
  • participants who received from 70 to 79 points – prize winners of the third degree (bronze diploma);
  • participants who received from 80 to 89 points become prize winners of the second degree (silver diploma);
  • participants who received from 90 to 99 points become prize winners of the first degree (gold diploma);
  • participants who received 100 points become winners of the grand prize of the contest “Talents of Europe(platinum diploma).

Special prizes from the sponsor of the competition – the jewelry brand Giverola.
Grand prize-winners – receive a free participation and hotel accommodation at one of the prestigious competitions in Spain in 2021.
Laureates of the first degrees receive a discount of 50% of the cost of participation and hotel accommodation at one of the prestigious competitions in Spain in 2021.

All participants who don’t pass to the second round or don’t want to participate in the second round will get diplomas without any degree.

    How to take part in the contest?

    – choose a competitive work to participate;
    – video must be up to 8 minutes;
    – upload the competitive work on YouTube, DropBox, Vimeo or any other service;
    – fill the application and pay for participation in the competition;
    – wait for the announcement of the results of the competition.

    Deadline for applications

    – the submission of applications is until 25th of October 2020 (CLOSED)
    – the results of 1st stage will be announced until 15th of November 2020;
    – 16 – 26 of November receiving applications from participants who passed to 2nd stage. (OPEN)
    – 15 of December announce of 2nd stage results and of the winners;
    – the results and report will be published on the website at the end of each trimester;

    – the number of participants in the competition is limited, a new submission of applications opens at the beginning of each month.
